Director Spike Lee was spotted filming a segment of his Netflix series ‘She’s Gotta Have It’ on the streets of Brooklyn on Friday.
The segment involved Actor Anthony Ramos Martinez, who could be seen hawking bottles of water to unsuspecting drivers as the cameras rolled from several directions.
28yr old Khadeem Anderson was shot in the head and killed inside a Deli located at 412 Utica Avenue at the corner of Montgomery Street in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn just after 5AM on Thursday. The suspect was able to escape and is now being sought by Cops.
The slaying of Khadeem capped off a string of early morning madness, which saw at least five other people shot in the borough of Brooklyn. “He grew up in this neighborhood, he was born on Crown Street” said Angeleta Lewis McLaughlin, the mother of the deceased. “Come on, turn yourself in, you can’t take somebody life and think it’s okay”, she pleaded as she spoke to media on the scene before breaking into tears. “All this gun violence is not necessary, it take innocent people life”, she said through her tears. “You’re a real murderer, turn your behind in”
Khadeem leaves behind a two year old child. The Investigation continues.

British born Actor Sacha Dhawan was spotted on the set of Marvels’ ‘Iron Fist’ while filming season two in Brooklyn on Tuesday. The show streams on Netflix and Sacha plays the character of ‘Davos’.
60yr old David Buckel, a Senior Organics Recovery Coordinator with the New York City Compost Project, was pronounced dead on scene after he set himself on fire inside of Prospect Park near Prospect Park South West at 10th Avenue in Brooklyn.
According to a hand written and signed suicide letter and a statement typed on green paper, which he left inside of a brown envelope marked with the words “For The Police”, David Buckel indicated that he killed himself as a ‘Suicide Protest’ on the use of fossil fuels and how we, as human beings, treat the Earth. Ironically, David admits in his Statement to using fossil fuel to set himself on fire.
Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter 29yr old Conor McGregor was arrested in Brooklyn, New York, after launching an attack on a bus inside the parking garage of the Barclays Center on Atlantic Avenue on Thursday April 5th, 2018.
Conor was taken from the 78th Precinct in Brooklyn at about 10:23AM on Friday, just a block away from the Barclays Center, and transported to Brooklyn Central Booking where he was processed for his Arraignment. After his appearance before the Judge, Conor was able to post his bail in the amount of $50,000 before walking out to face the media with his head held high and his chin up. He then disappeared into the back of a white GMC SUV double parked in front of the Courthouse.
According to Authorities, Conor threw a hand truck through a window of the bus, causing a man inside to sustain lacerations to the face. The injured man, said to be in his thirties, was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment. Conor is also accused of throwing a dolly through another window of the bus, causing a 24yr old man inside to sustain a cut to the eye. This man was also taken to Methodist Hospital. A 47yr old man also alleges that Conor punched him several times to the face with a closed fist, but he declined to go to a Hospital.
As a result of all this mayhem, the NYPD charged Conor with one count of Assault 3, two counts of Assault and one count of Criminal Mischief, for causing $6,400.00 in damages to the bus. Arrested along with Conor was 25yr old Cian Cowley, also from Ireland. According to Authorities, a 36yr old Equipment Manager stated that his left hand was injured and swollen, after he tried to prevent Cian from attacking the bus. The NYPD charged Cian with one count of Assault and one count of Criminal Mischief for causing $6,400.00 in damages to the bus. Cian walked out of the Courthouse right behind Conor, and joined him in the back of the GMC SUV amid a media crush. Both Conor and Cian are due back in Court at a later date.
A 911 call at 4:43PM today, reporting that two men were shooting at each other, sent cops rushing to the intersection of Utica Avenue and Montgomery Street in Brooklyn.
After arriving on the scene, one Police Officer then discharged his gun at a male suspect, identified by people on the scene as a mentally challenged, Church going man in his forties whose first name is Sahim.
The man was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to the NYPD, the Officer was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Preliminary information from the NYPD indicates that a gun was not recovered at the scene.

Police and Firefighters responding to a report of people with difficulty breathing inside of the Newport School, also known as Public School 184, at 273 Newport Street in Brooklyn, found a number of children suffering from the effects of pepper spray, with runny eyes and noses. There were reports of some children vomiting.
According to authorities, a total of twenty people were evaluated after an eight year old boy brought a can of pepper spray to school and discharged it inside of a classroom.
Eleven children and one adult female staffer were removed to Brookdale Hospital for further treatment and observation. An Investigation into the incident is ongoing.

1yr old Laylay Briggs, her father 27yr old Terrance Briggs, 16yr old Loyd Drain III, and 57yr old Loyd Drain Jr., were found dead with gunshot wounds to the head inside apartment 4M at the Riverdale Towers at 345 Thatford Avenue in Brooklyn on Wednesday.
According to Deputy Chief Michael Kemper, Commander of the Brooklyn North Detective Division, 27yr old Terrance and his 1yr old daughter Laylay were found in one bedroom, 16yr old Loyd Drain III was found in another bedroom and 57yr old Loyd Drain Jr was found in the bathroom.
“It appears all of the deceased are related, either biologically or through marriage” said Kemper. “At this time, we do not have a motive for this incident, but we are working very hard to establish one” Kemper continued. Kemper also stated that a firearm was recovered inside the apartment along with bullets and shell casings. “I just want to give my sympathy and my heart goes out to this family and to the residents of Riverdale Tower, to the Brownsville community” said NYPD Assistant Chief Jeffrey Maddrey, the Commanding Officer of Patrol Borough Brooklyn North, “The nature of this business we deal with death and tragic scenes, but when it involves an infant it is extremely tough” he continued. The Investigation into this terrible tragedy remains ongoing.
A 4yr old girl and a 1yr boy were pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital after they and two 34yr old women were run over by a 44yr old woman driving a white Volvo sedan on 9th Street at 5th Avenue in Brooklyn.
The Volvo then crashed into several parked vehicles. The two adult female victims, one of whom is reported to be pregnant, were also taken to Methodist Hospital where they were listed in Critical but Stable condition.
It is not clear at this time whether any relationship exists between the adult victims and the deceased children. The driver of the Volvo was taken into custody at the scene.
A 33yr old man who volunteered to help remove debris at a construction site belonging to the Church of God of Prophecy at 463 Rutland Road in Brooklyn was seriously injured after the section he was standing on collapsed.
The man fell straight through to the basement level and was buried by approximately six feet of debris.
It took more than one hundred firefighters, with some assistance from a Con Edison crew using a vacuum truck, just over one hour to free him from beneath the rubble.
The injured man was rushed to Kings County Hospital and was expected to survive his harrowing ordeal. It is unclear at this time whether proper permits were in place for work at the site, or whether any violations or Stop Work orders have been issued.
