A man minding his own business on the morning after Thanksgiving was brutally stabbed multiple times in the chest and shoulder in what is being described by Cops as a random attack.
The victim, 70yr old Otto Ponce-Farfan, was walking on Woodbine Street near Central Avenue in Brooklyn just before 9:30AM on Friday when he was accosted by his alleged attacker, a man who was later identified as 29yr old Rafael Fuller. Ponce-Farfan, who worked as a Livery Cab Driver, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in Queens where he was pronounced deceased.
Fuller, it turns out, lived only one block over from the scene of the attack. Police were able to track down Fuller, who then barricaded himself inside the residence. The NYPDs’ elite Emergency Services Unit was brought in and successfully apprehended Fuller. Fuller was later charged with Murder 2 and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
